Listening to and understanding girls with ADD/ADHD |
Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disorders and More...
As a society we are seeing an increase in the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder/Asperger's syndrome. Actually, it is not all unusual for a child with ASD/Asperger's to also have ADHD. We see it in our own family. Most of the advice and suggestions on this site can easily be adapted for working with kids with other challenges. As a mother of two High Functioning Autistic/Asperger's children and one ADHD/OCD child, I can attest to that! The important component is awareness. Educating yourself and communicating with parents are your best tools!
