Listening to and understanding girls with ADD/ADHD |
Slowly, we are starting to realize that just as many girls as boys have Attention Deficit Disorder. Since their symptoms are often so different, too many girls go undiagnosed. As a result, they struggle without the help they need. They often refer to themselves as dumb or stupid. They may feel inadequate and isolated. Taking the time to learn about ADHD and how to help a girl with the disorder to succeed can make a significant difference in her life. I hope the resources here will be of help.
